Jan Nimmo has worked with many groups of primary school aged children throughout Scotland either in schools or through Glasgow City's Museum Education Services Department.

Schools Projects:

Dunfermline District, design workshops in schools; Rutherglen Schools Multicultural Project; Glasgow schools: Ibrox Primary, mural project; St Brendan's Primary, banner making; Toryglen Primary, collage panels and banner; Burgh Primary, multi-faith banner; Calderwood Primary, multicultural banners; Cuthbertson Primary, Trees of Life project - collage based on Mexican art.

Glasgow 1999 Year of Architecture and Design:

Broomhill Primary School, banner-making with children; St Brendan's Primary School, mural panels for Design Maze and permanent exhibit in school; Furniture for the Future Workshops, working with children; Tinto Primary School, sign design workshops.
